Water celebration!

What a party! New water wells - installed by Ape Action Africa in partnership with Rotary in the Rainforest - are now bringing clean water to our Mefou neighbors for the first time, and a project this important deserves a celebration.

Official dedication festivities for the new water wells took place in early December. There were national and international dignitaries, news media, and lots of community members! There was singing, dancing, speeches and interviews, but the best of all was seeing the smile on a mother's face, knowing she can now give her children better health.
